Chilliwack River is closed to fishing until July 1st. Opening then for Hatchery Rainbows and Chinook Salmon.
Vedder opens May 1–31 for fly fishing only.
Chehalis closed to fishing. Opens June 1st for Chinook Salmon and summer run Steel Head.
Fraser River is closed to salmon fishing pending a fisheries opening date. Sturgeon fishing is very good now, guides are choosing Oolichons, Lampreys and Roe Bags. NOTE: Receipt must accompany oolichon usage.
Interior Lakes under 4000′ elevation are now ice free. Best bets are Leeches, Blood Worms and small Chironomids (size 14–16).
Local Lakes, Kokanee are now on the bottom, best baits are Krill, Deli Shrimp, Single Eggs & Small Roe Bags.
Cutthroat to 18″ at Wolf Weaver Francis, Sunrise Lookout & Wood Great. Harrison East and West Trout Deer, Hicks Moss Grace (sp).
