It is with great sadness AFGC and residents of Chilliwack and Abbotsford lost long time member Kurt Krack on Monday August 26, 2015. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 15, 2015 at Henderson’s on Marshall & McCallum Road.
Tuesday, September 1 Fraser is re-opened to Chinook. Retention is 4 fish per day, limit 1 over 62 cm. Note, no retention of Pinks, Chum or Coho until further notice.
Vedder and Chilliwack Rivers are open to 4 a day limit. 4 Pinks OR 4 Chinook OR 4 Hatchery Coho OR 1 Chum.
Harrison Salmon Angling now open above #7 Highway Bridge. 4 a day limit. 4 Hatchery Coho OR 2 Chum. Pinks and Chinook closed for retention until further notice.
Interior Lakes have picked up again due to cooler weather. Use small flies, pumpkin heads, leaches, shrimp and blood worms. Also small float fish, bingo bugs and rooster tails.
Local Lakes producing small Rainbows and Cutthroat. Use worms, shrimp, live crickets or flies and small spooles (sp).
