November saw the CQB final shoot of the season, with 56 shooters spread across 4 relays.
This year’s top 3 shooters had a nice selection of 3 prizes to choose from, Hi to low, donated by Seraphim Armoury (mag fed shotgun), Wanstall’s (1911), and MDT Tactical (HS Chassis, for a Rem 700, c/w stock, grip and magazine).
The selection of other prizes from the event sponsors ensured good coverage across the field. Gift cards from Wanstall’s, Dave’s, CTCS, and other good ‘stuff’, from Drummond Shooting, and a year membership to DVC rounded out the prize table.
Sunday’s ATS shoot was the last, for the year, and saw 5 participants out, in spite of the inclement weather. Practice was across all three platforms, concentrating on reloads and support side manipulation, as well as positional shooting.
