Abbotsford Fire Department came for their yearly inspection of the facility and we passed with flying colours!

A week after the fire department inspection we noticed that the large “K” (kitchen) fire extinguisher was missing (it must have been taken since the inspection). We contacted Rob by email as we had a large group using the kitchen and facility for the weekend and we could not run the kitchen without this extinguisher. We had to purchase a new “K” extinguisher at a price of $250 plus tax so we will try to keep the kitchen locked up unless noted in the rental agreement to prevent this from happening again. We have talked to CSC and they will only unlock the kitchen when they are in it.

Paid Costco bill for membership which gives us use of the Elavon credit card machine.

Purchased more electronic mouse plugins, cleaning supplies and fluorescent light bulbs for the clubhouse.

Mowed lawns, weed-eated and sprayed roundup on areas on ranges.

Arranged for 3 of the porta-potties to be cleaned twice a month during the hot summer seasons and will return to once a month when the weather cools off.

Eric Peterson Land surveyors were here a number of times during the month surveying all areas of the property.

The stair nose was replaced on the stairs going up to the meeting room.

The cedar fence between the archery range and the modular was installed by A&G Fencing. They did a very good job.

Jim from Multi gun was here with his machine and had sand delivered and worked for two days building up the berms on the side cement walls on ranges 3,4 and 5. Rearranged the target stands and blue barrels on range 3 and 4 after the sand work was completed.

Ordered more drop in envelopes as we had totally run out of them.

Ordered more lanyards and badge holders from ID Flow for membership.

General maintenance and cleaning of clubhouse.

Blew out all ranges and burnt up old target backers.Replaced them with new ones.

Coordinated law enforcement rentals.

Updated the LED sign as necessary.
