Langdon Tactical Pistol Skills Course is coming to Abbotsford

Langdon Tactical, Inc. has been providing advanced tactical pistol and rifle training to military, law enforcement and civilians for more than ten years. Langdon Tactical, Inc. combines more than 25 years of military, industry and competition experience to bring the latest in tactical shooting techniques and equipment knowledge.

There will be two courses offered and you won’t want to miss out! Space will be limited and non-members are welcome to register.

Tactical Pistol Skills Course

July 12 & 13, 2014

  • Combat Mindset
  • Training for performance under stress
  • Grip & Stance
  • Draw Stroke & Concealed Draw
  • Reloads, Emergency and Tactical
  • Clearing Malfunctions
  • Multiple Target Engagement
  • Turn and Shoot Techniques
  • Shooting Positions & Use of cover
  • Shooting while moving
  • One handed shooting
  • One handed malfunction clearing (fighting while wounded)

 

Advanced Tactical Pistol Skills

July 14 & 15, 2014

Topics that will be covered:

  • Combat Mindset & Training for performance under stress
  • Grip & Stance
  • Full Spectrum Trigger Control
  • Draw Stroke and Presentation of Handgun
  • Reloads, Emergency and Tactical
  • Multiple Target Engagement
  • Use of cover
  • Close Proximity shooting
  • Alternate aiming techniques
  • Shooting while moving
  • Engaging moving targets
  • Engaging moving targets on the move
  • One handed shooting (strong & support hand)

 

Students will need:

  • High quality Semi Auto Handgun
  • 4 Magazines
  • Holster, Magazine Pouch for at least two magazines
  • Sturdy belt suitable for Holster and Magazine pouches
  • 1000 rounds of reliable ammunition
  • Eye and Ear Protection
  • Rain Gear

 

Who is Langdon Tactical?

Ernest Langdon has 12 years active duty as a U.S. Marine and 17 years in the firearms industry. His duties in the Marine Corps include participation in military operations all over the world to include Panama, Cuba, Philippines, and the Persian Gulf. He is a graduate of 20 formal shooting schools and 4 anti-terrorism schools with instructor certifications from the FBI, NRA, US Army and US Marine Corps. Ernest has trained over 2500 students in advanced marksmanship skills to include personnel from the FBI, DEA, CIA, DIA, Federal Air Marshals, State Department, Secret Service, state and local law enforcement, as well as every branch of the US and some foreign military services.
