Notice of Special General Meeting, November 3, 2016, 7:30 PM
In accordance of our constitution and bylaws that any items not to presented, and approved at the last AGM, requires that a General Special Meeting be called to seek approval of the membership.
There will be two items on the agenda for budget approval.
Item 1
Approval for the purchase and installation of 5 Automated External Defibrillators (AED) and 5 Public Access Bleeding Control Stations in each of our Ranges, including the Archery Range. These units are vital First Aid tools for our club. The quality and costs have been carefully researched and we were able to negotiate a reduced price for this equipment. The cost purchasing this equipment, including installation, is $20,000.
Item 2
Approval for the purchase of lighting for the Archery Range, Range 3 and Range 4. Due to the many positive comments we have received from the membership in regards to the new LED lighting on Range 2, the board is recommending that we speed up the installation of similar lighting for the rest of the outdoor ranges. This will include range lighting, motion sensors, and high intensity strobes to indicate firing line going hot, on all Ranges (Archery, 2, 3, 4). More information will be available at the meeting on specifics of lighting. The budget request for this motion is $30,000.
The meeting will take place at 7:30 PM, on Thursday, November 3, 2016 in the Clubhouse. All members are welcome to attend.
