With more members than ever before in the history of the club, we all need to work together to make good use of the range. Please do not hog tables or lanes on the ranges. Membership does not entitle you to all the benches and 4 lanes for yourself and 3 guests, UNLESS there is no one else on the range. If there are other people present then please stay in one lane (you and your guests) and use only one bench. Yes we need to build more (volunteers???) and so we have to make do with what we have. Also, during ceasefires, DO NOT HANDLE FIREARMS in any way shape or form. Please take your mags and ammo away from the bench and load them well off the line. It is not easy to see if you are in fact handling a gun or not when standing close to a bench.

It also seems another reminder about testing staplers is needed. Benches and posts on the range are not there for people to test their staplers on. Test on the target backers if you must. If you are caught putting staples into the posts or tables/benches your membership will be revoked on the spot. Having seen far too many people scratch incredibly expensive firearms and accessories due to the carelessness of others is incredibly frustrating. I know no one would like to see their $10,000 rifle with a massive scratch down the side because someone punched a staple into the bench top.

This also extends to screws in the posts that separate the shooting lanes. If you need to attach something to the post for your shooting, please make sure to remove it when done. We would prefer that clamps or straps were used to secure spotting scopes and small supports, but understand sometimes they need to be attached, removing the screws is mandatory for the same reasons we do not want staples in the posts.
