It has finally happened!

The new LED lights are now working on Range 2 and as a result Range 2 is now open until 10:00 pm for shooting on all nights that it is open (Archery Wednesdays and Archery Sunday excluded of course).

So, how do you use the lights? It’s very simple. The time clock allows the lights to come on at 16:30 each day and motion detectors on the range will turn the lights on when they detect movement inside the shooting shed. The outer two lights will turn off 10 minutes after the last time they detect movement and the 3rd center light will turn off 3 minutes after that. That should give shooters a lot of time to get down to the 100m line and put up new targets and such. We can extend those times if need be. Just to be clear, every time the motion sensors detect movement that countdown clock is reset.

Finally, at 22:00 the outer two lights will turn off, leaving the center light on for another 3 minutes before it turns off as well. Shooters should be heading for the parking lot by the 22:00 as the motion sensors will not turn the lights on again until 1630 the next day.

If you have any questions or suggestions, please feel free to pass them on to me, I’d love to hear your feedback!

Thanks and safe shooting,
Rob
