I just wanted to advise that 828 Hurricane Squadron is now completed our 22 marksmanship program for this year. We managed to get to AFGC twice and the WOP with skiing 4 times this year estimated 25 shooters (some out for first time with 22) and total rounds 4000 spent. We will still have a few more final air rifle training sessions in house but due to the diverse program we now will focus on our other training.

We have 2 Survival training weekends coming up as well as a Tour to CFB Esquimalt, 2 days of Gliding as well as Fam flights in a 172 for all our cadets, needless to say a busy spring program.

I would appreciate if anyone has some 1 page informational posters or hand outs that I can pass on to our cadets and parents about the 22 club, archery club etc.

If any of you happen to live in South Delta area and have an interest in helping our squadron please drop in any Tuesday evening after 7 at the South Delta Rec Center.

Lt Tim Dyke will still probably bring a couple cadets out for practice as well I know there are a few cadets involved in Peter’s Biathlon club.

Our thanks to all the club members who have been kind and supportive to our cadets when we have been out shooting.

Thank You
