Sunday December 1st we held our final training/practice match at the club with 10 shooters attending along with the range officer.  The weather was on the cool side but skies were relatively clear.

This was our annual Christmas Turkey and fun shoot to wind up a very successful year for our shooters who attended matches at other locations which included Australia, United States, Ontario, Manitoba and Vancouver Island.  Our shooters represented our club and Canada extremely well for a very successful year overall.

Our first match of 2020 will be January 5th with subsequent matches being held the traditional first Sunday of each month.  2020 will be the 38th consecutive year of PPC matches being held on the first Sunday of each month.

We look forward to another successful year in 2020.  Club members, as well as members of other clubs are welcome to attend to compete, or just observe to familiarize themselves with the PPC course of fire.

At the annual general meeting of the Canadian Police Combat Association, it was approved to allow the WA1500 international target to be used for competition as well as the presently being used NRA B27 targets.  We still have a good stock of B27 targets which we will continue to use up during the procurement of the new WA1500 targets.

We wish all club members and their families a Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy and safe New Year.

Shoot well and stay safe on and off the range in 2020.
