Still looking for some additional volunteers to assist. We could like to spend more time encouraging and training, however, when we have only one volunteer, we must concentrate on overall safety.

We picked up a quantity of .22 ammo from Cabela’s on special. I just got an email today about .22 LR ammo specials in the US, and their specials were 50% more of our local Cabela’s cost, for the same brand.

We still have some Winchester ammo available for sale. This ammo is a problem with our target rifles in that they do not always eject.

We continued with .22 rifle in the summer and had a good attendance. We will be working again with the Outdoor Club from Abbotsford Christian School later this year to introduce them to the shooting sports.

If you have a group that would like to have an introduction to the shooting sports, primarily .22 rifle, let me know. We have had church, Native, Guide, and school groups out in the past.

We usually do a training session at their meeting place – church, school, etc. – and then the live session at AFGC.
