We are excited to announce that our Game Dinner and Dance is on again for 2017!
Join us on February 11th!
This year we are doing a Hawaiian/Beach theme so make sure you come dressed up as there will be prizes for the best dressed male and female attendees.
In order to make this event happen we need volunteers to help out (note that if you do volunteer for this event you will get credit for your work bee requirements as a member). We need help with decorating (ladies this is where we could use your special touch), setup/takedown crew, parking direction (night of event for approx. 1.5h) and soliciting local businesses for door prize donations (if any of you own local businesses or are connected in some way to one could you please consider providing a door prize to this event).
To all you hunters out there we would appreciate donations of wild game/waterfowl from your harvest. You can drop the meat off at the clubhouse with caretakers by appointment or contact Ian Baird (Big Game Chair) or Mark Porter (Vice President and Archery Club) to arrange for meat drop off. If any of you raise meat on your farm and would like to donate to the dinner that would also be appreciated (eg. turkey, pig, etc.).
Tickets should be available early December through sub-club heads, caretakers, Ian Baird or Mark Porter. There will be only 250 available so if you are planning on bringing a group I suggest you get your tickets early!
For interest in volunteering, meat donations, ticket purchases, etc. you can contact Ian Baird (604-866-9617 – biggame@afgc.ca) or Mark Porter (604-996-8220 – vice_president@afgc.ca).
