- We have been busy with roundup, weedeating and lawnmowing getting ready for the winter. Also we picked up shotgun hulls from all ranges.
- With range 2 LED lights now working, the ranges have been very busy at all times of the day.
- With the increase in activity here at the range, we are weekly replacing shot up target backers and dumping brass bins
- ALL RED/GREEN LIGHTS AND RANGE LIGHTS MUST BE TURNED OFF WHEN MEMBERS ARE THE LAST ONE TO LEAVE THE RANGE (except range 2 LED lights which are on motion sensors and will turn off themselves)
- We contracted Fraser Valley Tree to cut down a large dead alder that was leaning over the fence in range 3/4 parking lot. We were afraid with the winter winds we would be replacing a fence section again if we didn’t get it cut down.
- Claude Murdoch organized a delivery of free lockblocks and barriers to the club and we arranged to store them in out of the way places. We put three in the main parking lot to create an abutment for vehicles to park on both sides of We have heard many positive comments on this.
- We have contracted Taylor Doors to replace the door on range 2 and the original ones on range 3 and 4 with metal commercial doors and they will be realigning the front door to the clubhouse. The doors are now on order and the work should be completed by the end of October.
- Purchased cleaning supplies and maintenance materials needed
- We have got a larger garbage bin delivered to range 3/4 as the smaller one was overflowing each week.
- Wood bin from shot up target backers was overfull and was picked up and dumped
- Just a little reminder- it is each members responsibility to clean up after themselves and their guests- this means ALL spent shells cleaned up from cement and gravel area in front of shooting sheds THANKS!
