This summer has been extremely busy for the archery club. Our membership is at an all time high. Wednesday night drops are becoming a very popular venue. We are seeing anywhere between 20-75 shooters per night. We have at least 10 new/beginner shooters per night.
We had a work bee/BBQ in August and installed our new targets on the outdoor range. We should get lots of use out of them. So far they are stopping the arrows very nicely. Please be reminded that the bag targets are for practice field points ONLY!. If you want to shoot broadheads please use the broadhead targets.
A note to new archers. NO cross shooting on the outdoor range. Shoot square to your target. This should minimize wondering missed shots. Please see Mark Porter for 2015 archery sticker for your new membership card.
The GOS archery season is on! Please report all archery harvests to Mark Porter or Wayne Meyers. Gets lots of pics! Be safe and shoot straight!
