All, a reminder, for the December ATS shoot. It will be held on the usual 4th Sunday of the month, which falls on the 28th, this year. If you’re looking to try out the ‘new toys’ (hopefully), or work off the “I’m so stuffed…” (more likely!) overfed blues, please feel free to attend.

Pistol/ carbine/ shotgun, as usual. We may work in some of that ECQC goodness, from 0-5’ (just to stay ‘warm’), from November’s course. Range 3, 0930hrs for setup, rounds down range 1000hrs. $10.00 AFG members, $20.00 non- AFG members. Please RSVP. A reminder, as always, guns must remain cased until 1000hrs.

While I’ve set the CQB Competition shoot dates, I’ve yet to receive confirmation from the team as to the suitability within their schedule; between this and BCRA Service Rifle/ Precision Rifle/ Service Pistol, hoping for a great competition season, both here and on the Island.

Upcoming training opportunities will involve the Phase Line Green Lowlight Course I had to postpone from the November timing. Targeting a date in mid Feb 2015, so stay tuned. See http://www.phaselinegreentactical.ca/ for more course offerings, and details.

I’m looking to host a gun shot wound management course, as well; details to be finalised.

Also looking to set some ShivWorks course dates, for next year; EWO and ECQC (possibly, this year’s was somewhat ‘challenging’, in regards to the logistics effort required to execute). A HUGE THANK YOU, to this year’s logistics facilitators- you guys REALLY came through!

See http://shivworks.com/?page_id=881 for additional information and potential course offerings. Feedback from the tribe would be appreciated.

Have a safe and warm Christmas season, all.

Regards,

Claude Murdoch
