Thanks to all the members who came out to the General Meeting on Thursday, July 3rd to participate in our membership cap vote and other various items that are going on at the club.

The vote was passed with an overwhelming majority to increase the membership cap to 1,200 members. This will allow many more people to enjoy shooting and archery sports! As well as it will increase the revenue of the club so we can continue to make improvements and upgrades.

As there are still a number of people on the waiting list, we will be holding another vote during the next General Meeting on Thursday, August 7th, 2014 to vote on increasing the membership by another 100, to a total of 1,300 memberships.

There has also been some discussion on offering an Archery-only level of membership to members that would be interested and would not count as part of the overall membership cap. If you would like to express your opinion or have some suggestions behind this idea, we would encourage you to attend the next meeting in August to voice your concerns or support.

We encourage all members to take an active part of the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club by volunteering a small bit of your time and helping to grow the club in the local and sporting community.
