The fair weather shooters are starting to emerge from their burrows as summer looms closer and closer.

The April monthly training/practice match was held on the first Sunday and the weather cooperated making it an enjoyable day putting some rounds down range to clean the cobwebs out of the barrels.

The CPCA registered match scheduled for the first Sunday in May has been reclassified to a regular monthly match. All club and non- club members are welcome to come out to shoot, or just watch to see what our course of fire consists of.  Two of our members will be travelling to Marysville Washington to compete with the Washington State Police Pistol Association on April 16th.

The PPC sub club is also proud to co-sponsor the BC Sheriffs Shooting Association’s shoot being held on May 28 & 29th with competitors coming from all over the province as well as a few from out of province to compete.  In preparation for the shoot, and the shoot itself, all ranges concluding the archery and 3D trail, will be closed from 12:00 Noon on Friday the 27th though until 8:00 PM on May 29th.  We thank the club members for their cooperation.

For information on the equipment required to participate please contact the writer at rsorsdahl@shaw.ca or (604) 637-3945.

In 2016, should any member be interested in competing, or just observing, please feel free to drop by on the first Sunday of each month.

Good shooting and stay safe out there, on an off the range.
