We held our monthly PPC match on October 1st with 12 competitors attending and able to get our match completed under clear skies.
Our last CPCA approved match will be held on Sunday, November 5th and our December 3rd will be our Christmas Turkey match to end up the 2023 shooting season.
We had 12 of our shooters attend the Vancouver Island PPC Championships, held at the Victoria Fish & Game club over the Thanksgiving weekend, to end the major competitions for the year with clear skies and 24 degrees.
These shooters represented the lower mainland with distinction taking home 37 individual medal placings, 12 gold, 9 silver and 10 bronze, in addition, to 6 grand aggregate scores, a Master class four person team gold and 3 two person team class gold medals.
The medal count demonstrates the dedication of our shooters to the PPC discipline continuously striving for excellence.
The summer shooting weather is quickly coming to an end with the onset of cold, wind, rain and possibly snow over the winter months, however, we will persevere until the sun and warmth returns in 2024.
