June continued to see 10-15 shooters each evening; I think this is going to be the trend for the foreseeable future and I can’t be happier!
As a note to all, as we get more shooters, the likelihood of needing to shoot in two lines increases. We have a good process to accommodate that, but if needed it will increase the length of time for all shooters to complete their five ends. Please let me know if this longer time is going to be an issue for you and we will work with you to accommodate the timing you require.
Also, a big thank you to my assistant coach Jordan Miller for stepping up and running the last two evenings while I was out of town! I’m so grateful for having someone who can keep things running while I’m away and his development as a coach over the last few months has been incredible.
Lastly, thanks to all of you that come out and make Monday nights so much fun!
Reminders:
- The only entrance to Range 1 is around the side across from the archery range. Look for the sign in the parking lot.
- There will be no club running on any holiday Mondays
- We welcome anyone interested in shooting, although we do ask that parents initially provide 1:1 supervision for anyone under 10 years old.
- The mandatory safety briefing starts sharply at 7pm.
- You do not require your PAL, as you can shoot under our supervision, so if you have friends interested in giving it a try, bring them along.
- We provide everything including eye and ear protection for all participants.
- Drop-in fees are $5 for AFGC Members and $10 for non-members.
Looking forward to seeing all of you out Monday nights!
