Fraser River Non Tidal:
Lots of big Cut Throat being hooked. Angle with baits, eggs, shrimp, and worms. Two per day limit over 30 cm. Hatchery only.
Sturgeon fishing has picked up again due to a warming trend.
Starting to pick up Steelhead at creek mouths. Bait is best. One per day limit, hatchery fish only.
Single barbless applies.
Vedder / Chilliwack Rivers:
They have been a blowout until now. Steelhead are throughout the system. Angle in side streams, they are at your feet in these high water conditions spoons of good size & bigger baits.
Chehalis:
Chehalis has been disappointing this season due to blowout conditions.
Harrison:
Harrison is producing Cut Throat white fish & Rainbow Trout. Float fish with roes, single eggs, dew worms, jigs, & small flies are also producing.
Squamish River:
It is the fly fisherman’s heaven this season. Egg patterns, big leaches, wooly buggers and sculpins are producing Big Bull Trout.
Local Lakes:
Local Lakes are ice free.
Interior Lakes:
They are getting better and better. Use krill & meal worms.
