Chilliwack, Vedder, River: Closed above Vedder Crossing Bridge May 1 – June 30. Fishing only below bridge May 1-31, then closed June. July 1 for Chinook and trout.
Chehalis river: closed May 1-31. Open June 1 for chinook and summer steelhead.
Harrison River: Cutthroat fishing going well there. Use minnow imitation for good results.
Fraser River: In good shape for Sturgeon fishing but spring freshet starting now. Be cautious when on the water.
Local lakes-
Harrison lakes producing catches of rainbow, Kokanee, and Cutthroat.
Kawkawa Lake- good for kokanee trolling at 15 to 30 ft with dostail dodgers and wedding bands with corn or shrimp.
Interior lakes- A most lower elevation lakes are now ice free.. Leeches and blood worms are best for this early season
