Fraser & Harrison rivers are both producing large numbers of Big Chum Salmon. The Black Heads are showing up now too! I’ve been hooking a few Coho every morning at the mouth of the Chahalis River. Blue Fox & Indiana Blades are working great! Local guides are angling every day and weekends are busy with boats, so get you there early! Chinook retention is closed in the Harrison. Don’t forget your Jigflies, call me.

Water levels in the Chilliwack / Vedder have finally come up. Lots of Chum / Chinook to fill your smoker. The rain has also brought in more Coho. Fish for them with small Roe Cacks & Little Spinners, or #4 hooks & a small tuft of wool for those “purists”. I have heard of 3 steelies hooked in the lower river.

Local lakes still producing Cutthroat & Rainbows, small natural baits & Fly Patters are best bets.
