August has come and gone! Was a busy 3D season for our Sagittarius Archers. The highlight of the season was the Best of the West 3D tour.
We started the tour at Semiahmoo Fish and Game then moved on to the Kettle Valley of Rock Creek. We then returned to Mission Rod and Gun. July marked AFGC’s turn and in August, Ridgedale Archers hosted the final qualifier.
Sagittarius had 12 shooters that made the top 5 in each class. Likely the largest amongst all archery clubs.
The results:
- Mens Open: 1st – Curtis Meyers 3rd, Wayne Meyers
- Women’s Open: 1st Wendy Meyers
- Woman’s fixed pins: 1st – Madison Porter
- Mens fixed pins: 1st – Will Dueck 3rd – Peter Goertz
- Mens Known: 1st – Wyatt Meyers 2nd – Mark Morrison 3rd – Rick Stahl
- Members who shot in the finals where Darren Mulrooney, Mark Porter and Rob Borrill.
- Madison Porter took over all High score in the Tournament.
Thank you to all that supported all the local clubs this year. Was amazing to see clubs helping clubs.
