Abbotsford Fish and Game Club has donated $20K to the Wild Sheep Society of BC. This donation will be going towards projects along the Fraser River Region 3 and Todigan Region 6 with the continued goal of enhancing sheep habitat and bringing the sheep populations back up to historical levels. One of our members shot a bear that will make it into the BC top ten record book. Congratulations!
Ken and Ian had a conference all with Wild Sheep of BC. We got a lot of positive feedback from many different groups about our donations. Other organizations will now be joining in the donation matching. We’ve also been talking with the Mule Deer projects including tracking does and doing ultrasounds for studies.
The Wild Sheep Society of BC is reaching out to conservation organizations around the province seeking support with their Act Now Campaign. Their goal is to reach every licensed hunter in BC and to provide assistance in advocating for Scientific Wildlife management and to protect our hunting heritage.
