Our first day back out on the range took place on June 14th and felt like the first step towards normalcy. Unfortunately our second range day had to be cancelled due to the sudden heat wave that hit us and drove temperatures to 45°. We figured that a pool or an air conditioned house may be a better place to wait out the heat, and a good turnout of members would have been unlikely.
This month we have two range days scheduled for July 12th and July 26th and are hoping to see some new faces for both. Our club is currently planning to purchase steel targets for rimfire and handguns as they have been frequently asked for by members, and would be great to introduce new shooters to.
University of the Fraser Valley students will be returning to campus this fall and we are very excited to be able to advertise our club with students on campus when the time comes. It has been a long time coming and it is so nice to see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Stay safe everyone,
