The IPSC BC Provincial Championships took place over the Labour Day weekend in Prince George. There was a good turnout of about 135 competitors. As usual, AFGC IPSC Team members were there in force and ensured a good turnout of shooters in top placings over all Divisions.
Our practices have really paid off and we’re seeing a great improvement of skills across all levels. We will continue to have IPSC practices outdoors while the weather holds good and then we will move to the indoor range over the winter.
We are looking to hold at least one Level 2 weekend next year and possibly a Level 3 match should there be time and commitment available from our members. This could potentially open up the opportunity for us to bid on the 2027 IPSC BC Provincials for the 50th Anniversary of IPSC in British Columbia.
Sincerely,
Geoff Fraser
