It was with great disappointment that the IPSC Match weekend scheduled for the end of April had to be postponed until a later date. The delays with the occupancy of the Clubhouse, ongoing repairs to Ranges 3 and 4, and the required re-inspection process, the match could not proceed as planned. While this decision was not made lightly, it was necessary to ensure the protection and best interests of the Abbotsford Fish and Game Club.

We understand this news may be disappointing and sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

After a couple weeks off, IPSC Practice will resume on the indoor range on Sunday, March 15th and then on March 29th.

At the beginning of April, we will most likely be moving our practices outdoors to Range 3 on Thursday evenings. We will also be moving practices to only every other week starting on April 9th.

If you haven’t reserved a slot for the IPSC Nationals, make sure you do, it’s going to be a great match. The same goes for the IPSC Provincials this year in Cherryville, the match registration will be opening very soon. I have never seen another match so well sponsored as these two matches. A lot of companies and gun clubs have really stepped up to help make these matches successful, even with all the setbacks we’ve seen, this year alone.

Thank you all for your support of the Abbotsford IPSC Team and I’m looking forward to another great season!

Sincerely,
Geoff
