Local Rivers:

Fraser River: tidal and non-tidal – Closed to fishing except Sturgeon! The Fraser is extremely high and dangerous right now. Island 22 boat launch is half under high water surge and full of debris.

Chilliwack/Vedder: Closed to fishing above the crossing until July 1st. Fly fishing only below the crossing until June 1st then the river is closed totally until July 1st.

Chehalis/Harrison: High water conditions but still producing Rainbow and Cut-throat trout, as well as White fish and Pike minnows. The flow is very fast! Be very cautious!

Stave Lake: is high and fast but also some Cut-throat trout and Rainbows being caught.

Local Lakes: are producing Cut-throat, Kokanee and Rainbows. Fish for them with worms, krill, single eggs and chrionomid flies.

Interior Lakes: The Cariboo has slowed down as the water is now turning creating muddy conditions. Bait fish until the freshet is over. Scent is your ally. Sheraton, Timothy, Roche and Morse Lakes are slow.

The larger lakes like Okanagan, Kalamalk and Osoyoos water sheds are giving up great numbers of big Kokanee – troll to depths of 15’ or more.

Stay safe and socially distant!
