The PPC sub club held its monthly match on July 5 with six shooters attending. The turnout this month was lower than normal due to 8 of our regular shooters being BC Sheriffs who are competing in the World Police and Fire Games in Fairfax Virginia. These regular shooters are looking forward to being much more competitive this year thanks to the practice and the coaching they received during our monthly competitions. We wish them well in their endeavours and will update the club on their results next month.
At least two of our club members will be travelling to Marysville Washington on the 17, 18 and 19th of July to compete in the Washington State PPC Championships sponsored by the Washington State Police Pistol Association and registered by the National Rifle Association.
Our match on the first Sunday of August will be a CPCA nationally registered competition where the scores shot will be entered for national and international classifications.
