Well now that we have gotten thru the first couple of meetings and things are settling in it’s time to post my first report. I’d like to start off by thanking all those who have supported me so far – it’s nice to have such loyal supporters and nice to hear from a few occasionally to – I appreciate all the positive input.
Well we are working on several new additions to the website so check back occasionally – we hope to have a few interesting items added to it in the next few weeks – I am sure everyone will like what they see. Our new PR Chairperson (Nina) is working on the new format for the newsletter and the first drafts look great.
Special thanks to Rob for all his hard work over the past 2 years as president and of course for the nomination – nice to see the level of confidence people have in me – hope I can live up to it.
Ian and Rob have been successful in their negotiations with CSC and as such we now have our 100 yard range back for membership – great job guys – CSC is now on Range #3 from 8am to 4 pm 5 days a week – finally we can shoot out to 100 yards during the week – I am sure lots of you out there will be pleased with that – I know I am – great job guys.
We are still working thru the calendar issues but I seem to have a handle on it now so if there are any issues you see just drop me a quick e-mail – I am correcting things as I find them but I’m only human so if I miss something please feel free to point it out.
The open house is creeping up on us quickly (July 20th) and we are in need of volunteers – it would be nice to get things organized early this year so lets get those volunteer names in – contact either Nathan (Vice Pres.) or myself if interested. Also looking for sketches and such for the t-shirts for this year – send those in to me directly.
It’s nice to see some new faces at the meetings and some fresh interest in participating as well – hopefully this is a sign of things moving forward – this is a great facility we have here so lets all step up a bit and help to make it even better this year
