Well not the election results we wanted, but what we have to deal with. Keep your heads up and keep shooting. Don’t let them win and give up on our sports.

In better news, our club reno is coming along nicely, the block wall is going up on the addition and it’s starting to look like something now. The weather is warming up nicely during the day, and it won’t be long before we barely need the spot lights at night. The riparian habitat has been completed and looks stunning. We have a new beautiful wood fence and pathway for the archers to utilize and thousands of new native plants planted where mother nature previous decided to wash through and destroy. It is great to see this project completed. Huge thanks to Audrey and Dan for being the leads on this with the landscape company.

At the end of June we have IPSC returning to Abbotsford for a double match on the Saturday and Sunday, this will necessitate closing of all ranges for a few days so the match can be built and run. If you’ve never seen an IPSC match before, come on down and check it out, it’s a ton of fun, even for spectators. Just bring ear and eye protection and come watch the excitement.

All our sub clubs regularly put on top notch practices and competitions, if you’ve ever wanted to improve your archery or shooting skills, drop in and talk to someone at the club, they’ll be welcoming and full of information for you.
