For those that don’t know, many restrictions have been lifted. You are now able to hold events with 50 people. We still need to maintain social distancing, but masks do not need to be work outdoors. Changes are happening rapidly, so if you want to keep up to date, check the ViaSport website. Their Return to Sport Restart Chart outlines the different steps.
Face masks are no longer required to be worn on outdoor areas or on the ranges.
Face masks are only required to be worn indoors while on the property.
All organized Subclub activities are cleared to return.
Please contact your Subclub Director for more information.
Hello, you state now but the links you have included state June 15h?
June 15th is the Province’s Step 2 plan. We are following the regulations in Step 1 currently.
What about the 2 hour shoot limit/s ? For those of us living more than 30 minutes away its a crap shoot whether we get a spot or not. Is the cleanup/spray after your done still in effect as well ?
I have not been able or willing to go in 15 months…Still waiting for the 2 hour limit to be removed.
Yes, the 2 hour time limit is still in effect. If there are no other members waiting to shoot, then you may continue to shoot at your bay for the next time slot. The time limit will likely not be removed until we can full re-open every shooting bay.
Since this has been implemented a year ago, there have only been a few busy weekends that there have been members waiting for a spot. Most of the time it happens on steel range 5.
We would encourage you to return to the club and start shooting again, we are doing our best to accommodate the members’ needs with the Public Health Orders.
Masks have never been mandatory outdoors
Any Phase two updates?
The board is discussing whether any more restrictions can be eased.
when will my family membership, become a family membership to use. Not share 1 bay.. THANKS
When the PHO allows us to remove distancing restrictions at the club and we can open up all shooting bays again.
