Our summer so far has been very busy. Wednesday nights are continually full of new shooters. With the nice weather we’re able to use all 3 ranges.
Last weekend we hosted our first ever July competition. It was an awesome success. The weather stayed on our side. We had close to 100 shooter’s. It was a hunter scoring round. With a few perfect scores handed in , this lead to a final sudden death shoot off. This is the first ever outdoor shoot off I’ve ever seen in our local shoots. I think we just started a new trend. We had a great response. Next year we’ve already committed to changing the event to a 2 day shoot.
We have several spectators that stopped in to see what was going of at the club. We encouraged a few of them to drop in on a Wednesdaynight to try their hand at the sport. Sure enough 2 of them showed last night. They had a great time with us. For first time shooter’s they shot good enough to wanna come out again next week.
