Spring Report April 2013

Well the winter is over thank goodness. In case you haven’t noticed lately some of the half dozen or so surveillance cameras are up and running to monitor traffic on the ranges. We will be starting new membership guest cards which you will pay for in one of our two vending machines along with some other range essentials  like ear plugs and eye protection some other stuff the Board hasn’t decided on as of yet. This is coming soon.

We still have a few members not picking up on all the ranges such as 12 ga shotgun shells SKS rounds and general garbage.  We have three rolling magnets, one on each of the three outdoor ranges for all SKS and steel casings. No alcoholic containers allowed on property so no shooting of beer cans etc.  Remember that whatever you bring to the range is supposed to be taken with you when you leave (large objects) paper targets can be placed in the garbage cans. Remember when you leave the range turn off all lights including the spots (if you shoot at night). You will also notice that we have installed three new lights on range #3

Watch the web site for times and events as we hope you don’t come to the range only to find that the range you wanted to use is closed or rented out. Also remember that every Wednesday at 3:30pm the Archery club uses the 3D course so there are no firearms allowed on any ranges till the following day. Another date is Thursday evening from 6pm to 10pm the trap club holds practice events on range 2 and lastly Tuesdays for Steel Challenge on range 4 from 6pm to 10pm

Thanks
