Over the summer, numbers have dropped for the Monday night drop in, but we regularly have a few members show up.
Our 6 weekly class series in Rifle Shooting for new shooters aged 10-17 (ish) has been quite successful. We had 2 Shooters win 6 medals at the North American Indigenous Games in Toronto this year. We will be developing a more comprehensive program in the fall. A total of Five NCCP Rifle coaches are teaching, ensuring a high quality class, and low instructor to student ratios.
In June, we hosted a school sports day, with a total of 39 shooters participating.
The .22 club is one of our entry points for new shooters, and we are working towards growing our sport with our youth. We also need to grow our numbers of people able to act as RSO’s and instructors. We will be looking at this in the fall.
Anyone interested in any of these initiatives are welcome to contact us.
