Due to the recent rainfall in and around the lower mainland, there has been a suspension of fishing due to safety concerns both on the water and on the banks. Please keep clear of local rivers so rescue and repair operations can go as smooth as possible. Roads to local lakes are washed out or are for restricted use only. Fraser River is closed to everyone but emergency personnel only.
A reminder to all, take only what you need. There is enough to go around for everyone. Hopefully soon the rain will ease and the rivers can do what they do best.
