We’ve been seeing major growth on Wednesday nights at our drop in nights. Lots of new and old faces. Some trying archery for the first time and old members coming back after taking years off from the sport.
This past weekend we hosted our July Shoot for the Kids 3D Shoot. This event was also the 4th leg of the Best of the West 3D tournament. What an amazing event! We had close to 100 shooters. Many archers traditionally camped at the club for the weekend. Sue and Amber did a great job serving from their portable kitchen.
This was the first time in years we were able to put up a full 40 animal course. This is due to the vision and countless hours of layout and prep by Rick Stahl and Peter Goertz. Under their leadership, the rest of us volunteers were able to bring their vision to life. Mark Morrison was able to make up all the stairs for the mountain, making the tough climb more manageable.

We were also able to raise a donation for the Canuck For Kids Place (Abbotsford). Always a privilege to give back to the community when we can.
