Sunday 24 Jan saw 6 shooters out, with a full steel array for drills. Feedback was very positive, though the drills run need some tweaking, to allow for the decrease in time wasted taping targets!
The first CQB shoot of the year, with a new course of fire, was a resounding success. 40 shooters out, with a ton of great prizes.
A big “thanks” to our sponsors, MDT, for the precision rifle chassis’, Wanstalls and Canadian Tactical Cowboys, for the gift certificates, and of course, the Hunger Management food truck, for the usual great sandwiches!
Next CQB shoot is Saturday, 02 April, with the ‘classic’ course of fire.
Contact Ryan S, at actionrifleleague@gmail.com for more information, and to register.
A reminder for February’s shoot, Sunday, 28 Feb. Pistol/ Carbine/ Shotgun; bring the standard 250 rounds per platform.
The usual admin; $10 for members, $20 for non-members, 0930hrs setup and safety briefing, 1000hrs rounds down range. Please RSVP, if you plan on attending.
For all those AR shooters out there, your assistance and participation, would be welcomed!
Help free the AR!
