Vehicle Course

10 shooters for the live fire; 7 shooters for the sim day (just enough for an HRT team), with 2 actors, who gracely accepted the unrelenting sim fire.. Cudo’s to all, as both days were HOT..!

CQB

31 shooters out; not bad, for a smokin’ hot day, and a US stat. Thanks to all the sponsors, who make the great door prizes available; our own Shooter Ready, for the 55gr bullet packs; Wanstalls, for the $100 gift certificates, plus other swag, and CTCS, for cool bits and gift certificates.

July’s ATS

Preempted, yet again, for the Langdon Course (a worthwhile sacrifice, to be sure..!). One of the top notch pistol courses available in North America- I would STRONGLY recommend those erious about their handgunning, to take this series of instruction.

Those not shooting the Langdon course, have a second opportunity for Service Rifle, out at Vokes, as 39 Brgd/3rd Can Div is using the weekend as a practice, prior to the national CF matches. If you’re a BCRA member, this is a great opportunity for rounds out, at 100m back to 500m. May try to stretch the VZ 58, with North American ammo, this go round. The ComBloc new production non corrosive worked OK, back to 500m, but was just inconsistent enough to put me mid pack, of 40+ shooters (AR 15’s, and Lee Enfields, as the Rangers were out, last month..).

Upcoming Courses

A reminder, for the Phaseline Green Carbine Course, 26-27 Sept, and the Phaseline Green Low Light Pistol and Carbine Course 21-22 Nov.
