- It has been a snowy, icy, cold and very windy last several weeks at AFGC with one storm after another hitting us. We have spent many hours plowing snow and shovelling walkways and have purchased a large snow blower (with board approval) which we had to order from eastern Canada. We are now ready for any more winter blasts that come our way.
- Sterling Cross came to pick up brass for recycling
- Had the wood bin emptied and it is now half full again
- All of the vents on the main floor of the clubhouse have been cleaned as well as the furnace was serviced.
- Purchased replacement wheels for the rolling main gate as the others were in bad shape due to this cold weather and vehicles running into them.
- We purchased rat poison and traps to try to catch the rat who went from our fifth wheel, to the trap house and now to the main clubhouse – he liked the shiny Christmas tree decorations!! The last few days we have had bags of poison eaten and have not seen any evidence of it so hopefully we have been successful in getting rid of it.
- Just a reminder to ALL members – it is your responsibility to pick up ALL garbage that you have used on the range- this includes ALL SHOTGUN HULLS before you leave. ALL members are responsible for the actions of their guests THANKS
- Hung up game supper posters on all ranges
- Purchased cleaning supplies and paper products from supplier
- General building maintenance and cleaning
