Attention Members,
After our latest Board Meeting, the BOD has approved updated COVID-19 Policies and Procedures starting July 4th, 2020. The changes are as follows:
- 1 bay per Membership is allowed. A Family Membership is considered 1 membership.
- Up to 3 Guests are allowed to accompany a Member (Membership). If social distancing on a bay is not is not possible then wearing a face mask is MANDATORY. Our standard Guest Pass Policy applies. At this time, please do not lick the envelopes closed.
- Any sharing of equipment between non-household members must be sanitized between shooters.
- All Guest Passes will be used only once and placed under a minimum 3 day quarantine before being returned to the ranges.
- Face masks are recommended for all members, but not mandatory, unless social distancing is not possible. Face masks will not be provided.
- All ranges will be working on specific time slots every 2 hours on the even hour. You must clean up and sanitize at this time, regardless of whether you are continuing to shoot or not.
- If there are any members waiting for a bay you must leave and wait for another open spot after all new arrivals have setup. If there are no other members waiting for a bay, you may continue to shoot once the next time slot has started.
The BOD will continue to assess our Policies and Procedures and update them as necessary. Please check the website for the latest updates.
MANDATOY!
What a joke.
Maybe you should advocate for higher gun control while your doing the bidding of Adrian Dix.
How about we all just go to the range the way it always was. No one was ever to close before. Don’t sneeze on door handles, and wash your hands after using the washroom pretty basic stuff
We would love to go back to normal, but there are certain mandates given by the Province that we need to follow as an organization.
As many members were asking to be able to bring guests to the range again, these new policies are what we need to implement to allow for that.
Dear Clay: I understand that washing hands and distancing is PRETTY BASIC Stuff and intelligent, educated, smart people in the 21 century in an industrialized modern nation should understand this. So how is this working out for neighbours down south? Do you see the similarities between their approach and your approach?
Are the ranges still closed all weekend for the Canuck Shoot?
According to the Sagittarius Archers website it has been cancelled for 2020?
https://www.sagittariusarchers.org/shoot-for-the-kids-canucks-place
Shoot has been cancelled but the range will still be closed on the usual archery a Sunday.
Let’s examine death rates. Rates of confirmed antibodies represent people who are recovered and asymptomatic people don’t count as they don’t shed and they aren’t actually sick. We are afraid of a flu that has a death rate of .01%. Where are the level headed men of this country. Calm down, be hygienic and let’s relax. I understand guidelines but we should be wary of authoritarianism in any fashion, because arbitrary rules lead to more arbitrary rules.
How would the new covid19 rules affect trap shoot on Thursdays? Could I bring a guest to trap shoot?
