Local Rivers, Fraser River
both tidal and non-tidal portions are closed to salmon fishing until further notice. However Trout, Steelhead and Sturgeon are open to angling, all regulations still apply.
Vedder/Chilliwack
River open for Chinooks, Hatchery Trout and Steelhead. 1 Chinook over 62 cm and 3 Jacks.
Chehalis
open for Chinooks and summer run Steelhead.
Harrison
Good Cutthroat and Rainbow angling now.Fresh bait is best; small flies; spinners tipped in scent.
Interior Lakes
Interior Lakes and high elevation Lakes over 4000 feet are still producing well.
Lower Lakes need to be fished by slow trolling deep and shaded areas
Local Lakes
Harrison, both east and west, still producing strong for Rainbows; Kokanee and Cutthroat, again bait is best.
Kawkawa, fish on the bottom. Bait best again or small buzz bombs and crocks, mooch these at 30 – 40 foot depths.
