Due to a number of incidents lately we must remind all members to again read the range rules.
Make sure you understand them and to be sure to check the website calendar to insure that ranges are available for use.
ALL ranges currently close Wednesdays at 4pm for Archery use of the 3D trail system – this will change after the time change until then there are absolutely no firearms permitted on any ranges after 4pm – shooters must be off the range prior to 4pm – no exceptions. Again check the website.
We are currently installing an electronic lock-down system which will automatically lock the range doors when the archery system is in use. When this system is active there will be blue strobe lights operating at every range door and sign-in board – range doors will be secured by automatic MAG locks and there will be no way to enter the doors until the system de-activates. 10 minutes before the range opens for firearms there will be a warning tone to provide a final warning for any archers still on the mountain.
Remember that violations of range rules will be dealt with by the executive and may result in suspension or even permanent loss of membership privileges.
