Our past President, Rob Engh, competed in the 2017 IPSC Handgun World Shoot held in France the last week of August and first week of September. The competition was over six days involving 30 stages with the best Production shooters in the world as Rob’s competition. Rob finished in 79th place (77.77%) out of 455 competitors in the Production division. Congratulations to Rob on his fantastic result at the World shoot!
A group of Abbotsford IPSC Sub-Club members also attended the 2018 IPSCBC Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2 in Victoria the first weekend in September. In Production Division, Mike McClelland finished Overall Winner for both days with Dawne Deeley taking 3rd in Class C also for both days. For Open Division, Murray Gardner finished 2nd in Class A on day 1, and 1st in Class A on day 2. Chris Talkes finished 1st in Class C for both days. Well done all.
The last scheduled IPSCBC matches for the year will be the Richard Cho Memorial Qualifier #3 and #4 Thanksgiving weekend at Port Coquitlam. A number of IPSC Sub-Club members will be participating. We hope to have a few IPSC practice nights before these qualifiers.
We have started the process of upgrading our IPSC equipment inventory. Special thanks to Brennan Sheremeto for taking the lead role in building new aluminum target stands for the IPSC Sub-Club.
Thanks,
IPSC Sub-Club Team
