Our PPC Christmas 2020 turkey match, as well as our Virtual match with Marysville Washington on December 19th, was cancelled due to the upgrade in Covid-19 restrictions promulgated by the Provincial Health Officer, and the subsequent cancellation of all our sub-club activities.
The cancellation of all sub-club activities also resulted in the cancellation of our regular first Sunday of the month matches, and our Washington State virtual matches, for January and February of 2021. All of our sub-club activities are cancelled until PHO restrictions will allow our directors to reopen sub-club activities.
2020 has been a very successful year for our PPC shooters with participation at the Canadian National PPC championships in Victoria as the highlight of the year, and four of our shooters making the Washington State Police Pistol Association’s list of the Governor’s top 20 PPC shooters.
With the start of the New Year we enter our 39th year of monthly PPC matches here at the Abbotsford range. Naturally we are hoping for a quick lowering of the Covid-19 positive numbers and PHO restrictions so we can get back to meeting with our friends and moving forward with individual disciplines.
