Several of our local shooters attended the Canadian National PPC Championships in Dryden Ontario the first weekend in July with 20 podium finishes, with 9 gold, 7 Silver and 4 Bronze, in the various matches.  Three of our regular shooters who were planning to attend, were unable due to last minute injuries, sickness and other personal emergencies.

The PPC sub-club held our August monthly CPCA registered match on August 2nd with 11 shooters on the line, including one out of province shooter from Alberta.  The weather started out with sunshine and deteriorated into rain for the last couple of courses of fire.

Our members are in full swing preparing for the Vancouver Island Championships scheduled for Thanksgiving weekend in October being held at the Victoria Fish & Game range.
