Happy New Year everyone!

The new doors at the club are working great, it’s nice to be able to use the ranges and not have the wind whistling down and through all the open bays.

Something that seems to just be a constant reminder that is necessary, and I will admit it bothers me greatly that it needs to be mentioned so often, is, WEAR YOUR EYE PROTECTION! It doesn’t matter if you are a spectator, not shooting, not even watching the shooting, if you are on a range, and it’s active (Red Light is on) you are required to have eye protection on. This is not optional and can lead to you membership being terminated. What’s even worse is still have to remind people on Range 5, this is unacceptable.

As well, do not handle firearms, including shooting them, on green lights. You cannot touch your gun, in any way shape or form, for any reason, while the range is safe. Again, this shouldn’t need to be mentioned, but it does.

We have some great ideas for the new year, hopefully we’ll see the building reno started (I know, I know, it’s ridiculous how the city is treating us) as well as some potential cool new items.

Sincerely,

Rob
