AML – Practice Night

Multigun held our first practice night of the season on April 21st. We had 7 shooters out and even with our current sad state of available firearms we had a great time. Shotguns pistols and 22s seem to be the norm these days but we adapt and overcome and still manage to piss off liberals with a smile on our faces.

*Update: The AML team and members have discussed and decided to allocate a small portion of this year’s sub club funding to sponsor Hermes going to the US NRL22 Finale as it is an international level event that is well worth going to representing the Club and the BC regional shooters.

AML Precision 22

April for NRL 22 is a very critical month, with all the shooters around the world finalizing the score to hopefully make it into the Finale Championship by the End of May every year. People go all over the map (literally) to find matches to shoot and collect their final points.

Precision 22 Section had an easier month with a half day Evening match executing the seasons’ final scoring event, the April Course of Fire on April 27th. We were able to wrap up well ahead of schedule with a team of 15. We are also grateful that the club was able to accommodate this last minute scheduling as the range had a busy month as well.

We have come into being 2 shooters who made enough points to go to the Finale. Jonathan G and Myself. Unfortunately Jonathan wouldn’t be able to make the trip due to a new job placement. I obtained both Canadian Invite and USA Invite for the Finale, but I opted to take the US invite which opens up a spot for another Canadian. Which means I don’t get the financial assistance from NRL Canada but I allow another Canadian to go to the finale which is well worth it.

(To those that wonder, there are 2 leadership boards. US and Canada on this side of the world. Most people only score for CA, but I score for both.) This is great news for the club and the sport as normally there are only 12 Canadians able to get the invite and there are now 15 in total.
