On behalf of our membership, Abbotsford Fish and Game Club is proud to announce that we have partnered a number of other organizations in the firearms industry in supporting the CEASE-FIRE Effort, helping those in BC who have lost everything to the 2021 forest fires.
The Government of Canada and the Government of British Columbia is matching every dollar donated to the Canadian Red Cross 2021 BC Fires appeal. This means that every $1 donated will become $3 (up to Aug 10th) to support those affected by the wildfires.
The donation will be used for immediate and ongoing relief efforts, long-term recovery, resiliency, and preparedness for future events in British Columbia and impacted regions, including consequential events related to the fires.
AFGC has donated a total of $4,000 to this effort with the matching total becoming $12,000!
