Open House
Peter Turgeon, Gary Wong and Ron Edward ran the section. We used three club shotguns and two of Peter’s. 138 people shot at this station, 12 hit all five shots!
The Trap Club donated five cases of targets and three flats of shells for over 700 rounds!
Peter managed to fix the spring on the thrower, but this is probably the last fix with the spring. Recommend buying a thrower as a backup unit. Last year I attempted to get a new spring, but the model is no longer listed at the manufacturer. Several spring dealers had nothing suitable. Thankfully Peter found a replacement spring out of the US from Matt Boeser, Trap Specialist at Vista Outdoor and they were gracious enough to donate it to the Club. Many thanks to them for their great service and donation.
Trap Report
Had 12 shooters out.
Greg Wesselius won Individual Handicap 21/25. The 24 yard Handicap 39/50 and as well the 200 Bud Trophy ended in August. The 200 Bud with 189/200.
Another shooter announced no return as long as shooting on the next range.
Next shoot September 17, October 15.

Ends August 31 until next April.
Thursday 24, 6 volunteers unloaded 252 cases of targets in about one hour.
